Iran’s Crude steel Output Registers 2.9% Growth in 7 Months on Year

According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, Iran’s crude steel output during the first seven months of the current year stood at 18.4 Mt, registering a 2.9 percent growth compared with the same period of the year before.

Global crude steel production (71 steel producing countries) during the first seven months of the current year stood at 1,107.2 Mt, indicating %0.7 decrease compared with the corresponding period of the last year, WSA announced.

Furthermore, World steel Association report shows During this seven-month period, China with 613.7 Mt crude steel output, India with 86.4 Mt, Japan with 49.8 Mt, United States with 46.9 Mt and Russia with 43.1 Mt, South Korea with 37.1Mt, Germany with 22.5 Mt, Turkey with 21.7 Mt, Brazil with 19.4 Mt and Iran with 18.4Mt, respectively were the world’s top 10 steel producing countries.
