Call announcement to attract investor for participation in project

IMIDRO has an iron ore concentrate plant with capacity of 2.6 million tons in Sangan district and seeks to expand its capacity to 5 million tons by building a unit with capacity of 2.4 million tons and also considers to build a pelletizing plant with capacity of 5 million tons alongside it with help of domestic and foreign investors with technical and financial competences and useful experience relevant to this announcement, according the following conditions:
A) Participation in existing iron ore concentrate with capacity of 2.6 million tons
B) Participation in design, building and setting up an iron ore concentrate plant with capacity of 2.4 million tons to expand capacity production of the plant mentioned in part A.
C) Participation in completing design, building and setting up of a pelletizing plant with annual output capacity of 5 million tons
The plants are in industrial zone of Sangan project situated in Sangan district of Khaf county, Khorasan Razavi province.
Domestic and foreign investors of private sector with expertise, relevant experiences, capable of investment and interested in investment are invited to register. After depositing 10,000,000 rials (10 million rials) to IMIDRO's account number 1873028 from Bank Sepah, Ferdowsi Square Branch with code of 1200, the applicants can get more information and receive the papers related to investment conditions from Office of Legal Affairs and Contracts, Tenders Committee Secretariat in Tehran, Ferdowsi Square, Sepahbod Gharani Street, No. 39, eleventh floor since the date of announcement publication until Wednesday 2 July (1393/04/11) in working days.
All interested applicants are invited to submit all necessary documents and resume according the mentioned conditions by the deadline.
Applicant's conditions:
Having activity records in one of the steel production chain (from mine to crude steel) with annual production of 500,000 tons at least or being as main players and Having activity records in one of the steel production chain that their physical progress is at least 70% with approval of ministry of Mines, Industries and Trade and due to recognition of commercial and technical committee and in accordance with ratios specified in call papers.
Having financial resources or possibility of having foreign partners to finance the implementation and setting up the project.
The applicants can build the plants within the scheduled time specified in contract and in compliance with all scientific and technical standards, safety regulation and technical and environmental protections.
With publication of this announcement, all companies, joint ventures and local and foreign consortiums with sufficient and related experience are invited to submit their records and specify the method of financing the projects in their application according the conditions and terms of investment papers.
Besides, the applicants who intend to participate in the projects in form of partnership or consortium are required to submit their agreement or participation letter along with other necessary documents.
