Exploration drilling in two provinces put out to tender /Bid envelopes opening; late October
The Exploration Manager of IMPASCO announced:” The public tender documents for two IMIDRO exploratory drilling projects will open by the end of this month (Mehr 1404 Iranian Calendar).”
According to IMIDRO’s public relations, Farshad Jolideh Sar noted: IMPASCO held public tender announcements on September 20, 2025, for "conducting 10,000 meters of core drilling operations in the exploratory areas of Fars Province" and 5,000 meters of core drilling operations in IMIDRO's exploratory areas located in Kerman Province," and the deadline for receiving the documents for these two tenders ended yesterday.
According to him, the deadline for submitting proposals is by 5 PM on Saturday, October 18, 2025; therefore, the bid opening session will be held on the morning of Sunday, October 19, 2025.
The IMPASCO’s Exploration manager emphasized:
Reviewing documents and evaluating received proposals based on the tender conditions and documents takes about a month. One week after the results are finalized and the winners will be informed of further actions.
He added: The duration of drilling operations in the mentioned areas is estimated to be less than 6 months, considering the progress of exploratory operations in the related tender.
