IMPASCO's Strategic Step Towards Sustainable Development in Sistan and Baluchestan
In order to review the project's progress, Touraj Zare Impasco’s Managing Director, accompanied by a group of deputies and senior managers of the company, visited the Janja Copper and Gold Project.
According to IMIDRO's public relations, quoted from IMPASCO, a joint meeting was held with the presence of Shahraki, head of the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, in the meeting hall of the Janja project, and the latest measures taken and future plans of the project were reviewed.
Emphasis on the operational capability of the executive team
During the meeting, Zare expressed hope regarding the future of the Janja project, stating: "The team gathered to implement this project is an operational and capable group carrying out the works forward powerfully and regardless of unforeseen obstacles."
While appreciating the shareholders and employees of the project, he added, "I am so pleased to see attention is being paid to sustainable development in this region. Considering the climatic conditions of the area, a more serious focus is expected on the use of renewable energies, especially solar energy."
Zare also referred to his recent conversation with Samieinejad, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, and IMIDRO’s Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors, and noted: the policy of the new IMIDRO’s head is also based on the comprehensive development of mine and mining industries in the province and planning for the next phases.
At the end of the meeting, Mostafa Molavi, Director of the Sistan and Baluchestan Exploration and Mining Project Complex, along with Ebrahimi Nasab, Managing Director of Janja Copper Mines Development Company, presented a report on the measures taken and described the project's favorable and promising progress.
This visit was carried out to conduct a field evaluation, strengthening executive coordination, and accelerating the exploitation of the region's mineral capacities, and is considered a turning point in the path of the southeast's sustainable development.
