‎Kholousi: Imidro is following up the supply of foreign exchange for the aluminum industry ‎

According to Imidro's Public Relations, Somayeh Kholousi, in a meeting including the members of the Iranian Aluminum Industries Syndicate, stated: "Imidro has attracted desirable investments in the steel industry over the past years, but regarding the aluminum industry, fewer investors can be attracted due to lower profit margins than other industries."‎

‎She continued: " One of the main priorities of this organization is Developing the mining industries , and since the establishment of Imidro, the capacity of the aluminum industry has developed to about 800,000 tons." Our effort is to provide the field for the implementation of upstream plans of the aluminum industry so that the economic advantage of this industry reaches the desired level.‎

‎Development of expansion plans, preparation for achieving 8% growth‎

‎Houshang Goudarzi, the head of the Iranian Aluminum Industries Syndicate, pointed out that the aluminum industry is considered as a very strategic industry, and stated: "Our priority in this industry is to provide foreign exchange and our effort is to be able to provide it by consulting the relevant institutions."

‎ ‎He declared: "The national aluminum conference is scheduled to be held at the end of next May, in which investors will be invited to attend." Also, in this conference, the aluminum master plan will be unveiled.‎
