More than $11 billion exports in mine & mining industries during the first 10 months of the current year
The country's mine and mining industries sector exported more than $11.1 billion during the 10 months of 1403 (Iranian calendar).
According to the Public Relations of imidro, the foreign trade’s performance of Iran's mineral products & industries from the beginning of April to the end of January (Iranian calendar), shows 52 million and 112 thousand and 34 tons exports of various products of the mine & mining industries sector with a value of 11 billion and 139 million dollars.
The amount of exports for the same period last year was 52,676,382 tons, worth 11 billion and 129 million dollars.
A comparison of the export statistics for the 10 months of this year with the same period last year shows a decrease of one percent in "tonnage" against one- tenth of a percent increase in value (exports).
The highest exports in the 10 months of 1403(Iranian calendar) were related to the production chain of 3 products, including steel, aluminum and copper, with an amount of 27 million and 724 thousand and 74 tons, worth 8 billion and 673 million dollars.
Increase in the value of imports of products/ 71 percent
The amount of imports of the mine sector and mining industries during the mentioned period was 3,578,473 tons with a value of 9 billion and 913 million dollars. The amount of imports of these products in the same period last year was 4,558,945 tons, worth 5 billion and 792 million dollars, which indicates a decrease of about 22 percent in tonnage and an increase of 71 percent in the value of imports.
