Achieving the goals of the Seventh Development Plan by supporting the capable private sector ‎/available

According to IMIDRO,s Public Relations, Mohammad Aghajanloo, on the sidelines of a visit to the development plans of the Derakhshan Takht-e-Gonbad Copper Processing Company in Sirjan city, stated:

"As a representative of the government (IMIDRO) and the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade we have to enhance the platform for the development of the real private sector.

‎He added: "by supporting this sector the growth and development of the mining sector occures, and the Supreme Leader's decrees on replacing mining with oil can come To be realized." Additionally, a 13% growth in the mining sector to be reached in the seventh development plan.

‎The Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of IMIDRO, referring to the numerous administrative structures and bureaucracy of the government, the possibility of making quick decisions for development and achieving the goals of the Seventh Development Plan is less, and added: " The agility and decision-making of the private sector lead to better development.

‎ He continued: "The direction of the ministry, especially Engineer Atabak and IMIDRO, from the private sector is in line with accelerating the realization of the Seventh Development Plan."‎

‎Copper Industry, a Valuable Chain ‎

‎Stating that the country's copper mines has high capacity and by considering the discovered reserves till now, Iran ranks fifth in the world, the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, declared:‎

‎- "This volume of reserves is far from the amount of production." ‎

‎-This gap should be reduced in accordance with the country's capacity and applied in the copper chain." ‎

‎- This valuable chain starts from the mine and can reach the food items.

‎ Aghajanlou noted: " This value chain’s development leads to production, employment, and added value."‎

The establishment of the third phase of the Takht-e Gandeh mine in the coming months

The Chairman of the executive board of IMIDRO stated :“due to precise and structured planning throughout the entire production chain, the future of the Takht-e Gandeh copper processing company is bright, therefor this company will be one of the model companies in the country”.

He added: The third phase of this company, which is under construction for new smelting, sulfuric acid, chemical fertilizers,…plants, will be utilized in the coming months.
