‎ The necessity to coordinate the strategy of mine and mining industries companies with localization policies ‎

According to the public relations of IMIDRO, Omid Emami, IMIDRO’s Deputy of Mine and Mining Industries in the first seminar of localization managers of mine and mining industries in the following year, declared:

The conditions of the country are such that we must utilize the maximum domestic capacity in equipment construction in order to reduce foreign currency expenditure.

‎ According to Emami, the reduction of foreign exchange should be considered as a requirement for companies, today, localization is considered as a main policy and attitude and should not be viewed as an optional and luxurious matter.

‎ Emami continued: Not focusing on localization and also on the development of technology aimed at increasing productivity means losing the current capabilities and assets that we have gained over many years.

The deputy of IMIDRO also mentioned the position of this organization as a leader and facilitator and noted: We are responsible for focusing on advanced (Hi-Tech) industries and investing in high-risk areas to achieve higher goals in localizing and developing technology.

Earlier, Farhad Farshad, IMIDRO’s director of technology development and localization, by outlining the macro goals of mine and mining industries in the field of localization and technology development, emphasized the necessity of coordination and holding continuous meetings to implement the policies of this sector.
