According to the report of the public relations of IMIDRO, in a report released by website of World Steel Association, Iran produced 16 million and 331thousand tons crude steel in 2014, this figure decreased to 16 million and 110thousand tons in 2015.
According to this report, Iran ranks as 14th world steel producer as the previous year. China, Japan, India, USA, Russia, South Korea, Germany, Brazil, Turkey, Ukraine, Italy, Taiwan and Mexico ranked 1 to 13 respectively.
Except India, all these countries had a negative growth about 0.5 to 15.6 percent in 2015.
66 countries of the world produced over 1.5 billion tons crude steel in 2015 while global crude steel production was over 1.6 billion tons in2014.
