Tehran, Feb 4, IRNA - Three major Iranian aluminum companies produced over 293,595 tons of ingots during March 21, 2014- January 20, 2015.

The Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) also reported on Tuesday that the figure shows an increase of 893 tons compared with the preceding year’s output.
Iranian Aluminum Company produced 51.4 percent of the figure with 151,163 tons, while Almahdi Aluminum Company and Hormozal produced 80,147 tons and 62,285 tons respectively.
According to the report, the country produced 209,558 tons of alumina, 2 percent higher than last year’s output of 205,532 tons.
According to the 2025 Vision document, Iran plans to produce 1.5 million tons.
