Iranian-built cement factory to be inaugurated in Venezuela Tuesday

According to a report by IMIDRO, the capacity of the Cerro Azul cement factory is one million tons per year and the Venezuelan government has invested 273 million Euro in the project.

Contractor of the factory is Ehdas Sanat Company affiliated to IMIDRO.

Iran has 72 cement factories with a total capacity of 80 million tons a year.

Last year, Iran exported 18 million tons of cement to more than 30 different countries.
