IMIDRO Signed Memorandum With Mining Engineering Association

According to IMIDRO`s public relations, this memorandum was signed between chairman of IMIDRO, Mehdi Karbasian , and chairman of Iranian Mining Engineering Association, Ali asghar Khodayari.
Karbasian noted that Mining Engineering Associationis a powerful researching and scientific arm of IMIDRO. He said ,”with respect to reducing global price of oil and important role of productivity in country`s economic growth, we want to implement new actions in modern technologies research sector, reduction of energy consumption and applying modern knowledge”.
Karbasian said,” IMIDRO` s cooperation with universities and research centers is the future program of IMIDRO and is a kind of it`s investment”. He added ,”In the last 9 month ,values of these contracts in the research and technology sectors have reached 120 billion Rials of which 10 billion Rials was spent on sponsoring mining sector _related thesis”.
Chairman of IMIDRO said that the mentioned memorandum including all mining activities of exploration, extraction and processing. He remined that according to IMIDRO`s statute ,up to 25 percent of annual profit could be invest on research and training sectors.
Chairman of Mining Engineering Association, Ali asghar Khodayari, said that cooperation with IMIDRO enable us to better perform our mission in knowledge development in mining sector. He said that our present and future actions in order to release mining knowledge include: holding training courses, conferences and release scientific achievements.
