IMIDRO`s Plan for Mineral Explorations Development

According to the public relations of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation(IMIDRO),IMIDRO `s position of mines and mining sector in country`s economy with respect to programs of mines and mining sector in vision of 1404 and completion of exploration chain up to mineral processing will be promoted, Mehdi Karbasin added.
Due to the feeling severe need to increase mineral resources in different areas such as iron ore, copper, gold and etc, in the mentioned chain, put the increment volume of metal and nonmetal mines certain resources as the base phase in mines and mining industries` chain in the program, Karbasin expressed.
Hence, IMIDRO with cooperation of Geological Survey of Iran, during the last year implemented extensive program at exploration area and since operated 135,000 square kilometers of which200, 000 square kilometers of prepared exploratory program, he added.
In Sangan area 12000 square kilometers exploratory operation was done and in this exploration we achieved good resources, chairman of the executive board of IMIDRO noted.
The memorandum with Geological Survey of Iran will accelerate the mineral exploration operation in the year1394(March2015 _March2016)and the other new tens square kilometers would be put in the exploratory operation spans, chairman of the executive board of IMIDRO noted.
