According to IMIDRO’s public relations, steel, aluminum, alumina, petrochemical and power plant are most important areas of investment in Parsian Energy_Intensive Industries Special Zone which it’s infrastructure is ready now, Hussein Pakdaman expressed.
Due to the proximity of the region to Assaluyeh (gas supply) several groups have announced that are ready to invest in petrochemical site, Pakdaman said.
It is expected that 8 thousand megawatts of electricity to be produced in Parsian Energy_Intensive Industries Special Zone .So far five companies are ready to participate in construction of power plant. Negotiations with investors are continuing in this area, he added.
Necessary infrastructures such as water, electricity and infrastructures of time of construction were supplied and investors can start their activities, he said.
So far ,12 applicants announced that are ready for investment in petrochemical, five applicants for investment in power plant construction(each 500 megawatts),four applicants for investment in steel, two applicants for investment in hotel and residential complexes and also numbers of applicants announced that are ready to invest in other projects which some of them are negotiating and signing contract,Pakdaman explained.
Parsian Energy_Intensive Industries Special Zone with an area of ten thousands hectares is located at Hormozgan province .Due to the the proximity of this region to Assaluyeh,it will be a base for industrial production such as steel, petrochemical,cement etc.according to IMIDRO’s plans this region is in threshold of executive operations of construction of a port with annual capacity of 40 million tons.
