Major Mining Companies in Investment Line in Iran

According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, major mining and mining industries companies are in investment line in mine sector of Iran but issues such as customs rules, investment ownership, ownership transfer and legal affairs should be presented clearly, in a lecture at the first Iran Mines and Mining Industries Summit (IMIS), the senior shareholder of Kazakhstan SRS company Kassylova Gulmira said.
Although at the present time several mining companies at the world collaborating with Iran by buyback and finance contracts but it is necessary to modify present rules because they do not have required diversity and attraction, she added.
Various agreements were done at the recent meeting of Iran and Kazakhstan presidents with attendance of Ministers of Industry and Mine .Experiences of Kazakhstan after Independence from the former Soviet Union shows that modification of investment rules will open new outlook for investors. Clearly could be seen positive results in the Middle East countries, Gulmira noted.
Development of Mines and Mining sector in Iran requires international professional experts, modern equipments and update technical knowledge which achieved by interactions with major mining companies, she said.
