Prediction of 7 Tons Gold Production in 2017

According to the reports of public relations of IMIDRO, based on the predictions, Iran’s gold bullion production will be reached 7 tons per year in the year 2017 with complication of ongoing projects.
Accordingly, 6 tons belongs to the Zarshouran gold mine in Takab area in the Western Azerbaijan province. Implementation of development plan will lead to the double production growth and production reached from 3 to 6 tons per year.
In Iranian year 1392(from March 2013 to March 2014),real gold bullion production in Iran reached more than 4.1 ton while gold bullion production faced with fluctuation so in some years gold bullion production reached 1432 kg .
Major gold producers in the country by the year 1392 (from March 2013 to March 2014)were mouteh, Aq Darreh, Kuh-e-Zar,Zar Mehr and Sarcheshmeh mines but from the latest months of the previous year Zarshouran gold mine emerged as the biggest producer with production of 3 tons per year.
