According to the report of the public relations of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), Mehdi Karbasian travelled to the Vienna in order to attend the IRAN-EU Conference Trade & Investment to present investment opportunities and attract cooperation of related firms.”Value of the current projects is about $9billion and the future projects have approximately $20billion value”, Karbasian said.
Since the establishment of IMIDRO (2002), it has implemented projects with approximate value about $17billion and made 70thusands job creation in Iran, he continued.
According to the predictions long term projects in Iran in mine and mining industries sector will be implemented by the year 2025.Aluminum,steel,rare earth elements, copper, gold and coal sectors are ready for investment, he added.
Also he announced that energy intensive special zones are constructing in order to develop industry.” we made proper situations for investment and mining industries’ growth through prepare necessary infrastructure and facilities such as energy, customs,…”,Karbasian expressed.
Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade noted the new exploration plan and explained that implementation of this project will announced new records of mining reserves in Iran to investors and will increase confidence of implementation of development plans. more information
