According to the report of the public relations of IMIDRO, currently a group of Italian delegations travelled to Iran.
Italy plays an important role in steel industry sector in Iran and it seems that after the lifting of sanctions Italy plans to retrieve its position in Iran’s mining industry sector.
Iran’s major steel mills such as Mobarakeh steel company and many companies in private sector were constructed with assistance of technology, investment and technical knowledge of major Italian steelmakers.
Before sanctions Italy have good cooperation with Iran in many industrial infrastructures especially in mining industry such as steel and processing ore machinery. So, after lifting sanctions this cooperation could be continued, Head of the Iran -Italy Chamber of commerce, industry and mines, Ahmad Pourfallah said
Two groups of Iranian trade delegations will travel to Italy in August and September 2015 to assess cooperation of private sectors in both countries, he added.
